Pressure Treated Poles
Cost-effective Longevity: The Benefits of Treated Wood
Treated Lumber is Stronger and Lasts Longer
Pressure-treated wood has a longer life span due to reduced heartwood exposure. It's also stronger and suffers less warping than dimensional timbers. Long life spans and superior strength make treated wood very cost-effective.
Kiln Drying Wood Before Treatment
The most common failure of wood poles is rot and decay at the ground line. By kiln drying your poles before they are treated, we significantly increase the life of your project.
Kiln drying pulls excess moisture from the pole, allowing the pressure treatment to fully penetrate the wood.

Treatment Options
We offer multiple treatment options:
DCOI - is an AWPA standardized preservative with an appearance similar to pentachlorophenol.
CCA - is a water-soluble inorganic pesticide most commonly used as a wood preservative to make it resistant to attack by termites and fungi that cause decay.
CCA-ET - pressure treated with chromated copper arsenate, CCA, and an emulsion treatment, ET, is applied to the outer layers of the pole.
ET® Brown Poles - combining the longevity and cleanliness of CCA poles with the climbability of oil-impregnated poles and traditional brown coloring treated with a refined hydrocarbon oil emulsion.
